“I wish I had known about Poke Root when I dealt with 3 back-to-back mastitis flare ups during breastfeeding when J was 21 months. It had been smooth sailing until then, and I was completely blindsided.

An IBCLC I met with recommended Poke Root at the very first sign of symptoms “take 1 drop the first day, 2 drops the second day, and 3 drops the third day but you probably won’t need it by then”. I was weeks into dealing with an extreme flare up, but I opted to give it a go anyway.

I tried a tincture I ordered immediately for a few weeks and it helped some, but I still had some lingering swelling.

Directions

Shake well before use. When used during onset of mastitis, take 1 drop the first day in 6 oz of water, 2 drops the second day, and 3 drops the third day if still needed. For care during a fully manifested mastitis case, take up to 6 drops 3x per day until symptoms subside. Store in a dark, cool, dry place.

Not for use during pregnancy. Use with respect and care. Large doses may cause extreme nausea, so follow dosage directions properly.
